The Pines twins go on a summer vacation down in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Dipper discovers a book leading to unimaginable adventures and discoveries, but what lies ahead isn’t what he’d predicted. One day, he stumbles upon a mysterious girl with great suspicions and secrets that he has to find.   Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

If 'Pines' had been a standalone book, I would have been seriously impressed. However, Crouch felt the need to give us two more stories about this quirky little, Idaho town, which I feel were unnecessary and unearned. Where 'Wayward' just about to maintain a 'meh' level of interest throughout, 'The Last Town' failed to achieve even this.   Adapting a TV series from a book can be tricky to be honest adapting anything from a book can be tricky, but Wayward Pines took great measures to ensure the jump from page to screen would be successful. Of course the transition can’t be entirely seamless as many changes have to be made to ensure a full run can be plotted out and the pacing is just right.
